Gillian Elisa © Mick O'ConnellWith broadly diverse roles in prominent television series such as The Magnificent Evans with Ronnie Barker, A Mind to Kill with Phillip Madoc for Channel Five, Forever Green with John Alderton & Pauline Collins and a deeply moving, BAFTA Nominated performance as cancer victim Ann in S4C’s major television series Teulu, Gillian has shown her versatility, depth and talent as an actress. Not content with merely acting, Gillian has worked hard to establish herself firmly as a comedienne and singer. Marking her third album release with the new CD, Lawr y Lein, Gillian has formerly released Rhywbeth yn y Glas, produced by Fflach in 1996 and Haul ar Nos Hir from Sain in 1999. She has won great success by playing a key role behind four entries to the Can i Gymru competition, all reaching the final round across four successive years. Gillian also translates many songs into welsh for her albums and shows.

Infamous as Mrs O.T.T., the attention-seeking, outrageous harridan from Tregaron, Gillian continues to be the creator of S4C’s most popular comedy character which took her to Edinburgh in August 2004, with her new one-woman show, to make her Fringe Festival debut. Gillian also completed a successful week-long run at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival.

Gillian Elisa as 'Sabrina' in Pobol y Cwm © BBC CymruNow back in Pobol y Cwm since Millennium Eve and with ever more far-reaching, ambitious projects in the pipeline, Gillian is busier than ever before. Be it touring live with Peter Karrie, performing her one-woman show or terrorising unsuspecting audiences as Mrs O.T.T., Gillian continues to challenge & push herself further & remains one of Wales’ most prominent, popular & versatile celebrities.
